Mr Yogendra Kr Modi

Mr. Yogendra Kumar Modi is the main promoter and Director of YKM Holdings International Limited along with being the Chairman and Managing Director of GEECL . During the course of his highly illustrious career, he has conceived, implemented and operated several large projects in industrial chemicals, cement, textiles, electronics and the auto components business.

Yogendra Kr Modi is a member of the Dean's Council at John F Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University , Cambridge , USA . Mr. Modi is a prominent spokesperson for the Indian industry and has held office in many national level business organisations.

Mr. YK Modi was President of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in 2004. FICCI is a pan nation body responsible for promoting business enterprise in India . It has over 1500 corporate members and also 500 Chamber of Commerce and business associations as members.

Mr Modi is also the immediate past President of the International Chamber of Commerce ( India ) (ICC India). He was appointed to the ICC India board in 1992. Prior to this he was a member of its Executive Committee and Standing Advisory Committee.

ICC India is one of the most active chapters of the ICC worldwide, which has members from over 140 countries. ICC India's membership consists of a large number of corporate organisations, chambers of commerce, trade & industry associations and consultancy organisations. The aim of the ICC is to promote policies which encourage liberalisation, accelerate inflows of foreign investment and help in lowering of tariff barriers to promote international trade.

Mr Prashant Modi

Prashant Modi is the President & Chief Operating Officer of GEECL where he is responsible for managing the day to day operations. He joined the YK Modi Group in 1996. Prashant was the prime driving force behind the successful listing of the Company on AIM of the London Stock Exchange in 2005.

When he first joined the YK Modi Group, Prashant was responsible for Business Development at Rossell Industries Limited (RIL). RIL is a Company based in India with Tea Plantations in the state of Assam . In this company Prashant was involved in its restructuring and subsequent highly successful sale of its business to Unilever.

Prior to joining the YK Modi Group, Prashant was involved in the International accounting / finance division of Qualcomm Incorporated in San Diego , USA in 1995. In 1996 he moved to the project finance division of ANZ Bank in London , UK . Prashant Modi was also provided business consulting services to the respective senior management of these companies during this period.

Prashant Modi completed his schooling from St Columbus School, New Delhi , India , where he focused on business management. Thereafter, Prashant gained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University , USA . He subsequently went on to complete an executive education course in finance at Harvard Business School , Cambridge , USA .
